Reality is a turbulent and chaotic mixture of objects and forces. Our minds create some kind of, often arbitrary, order that we accept as real. Malandro creates his own objects, assembled from the creative meanderings of his own mind, suggesting an alternative order, undermining our accepted models of what we accept as meaningful combinations and images.

The compositions are produced by the flavours of different materials. Materials have a texture which posses an atmosphere, the way colors can contain emotions. The visual is linked to the kinesthetic in a subconscious way, and this connection is being explored in these works.

Malandro's art is an alchemy of matter and imagery; there is magic to the fact that an inanimate object or image can stir something inside the human soul. It's equally fascinating that an undefined emotional impuls, in the process of creation, turns itself into a physical form, almost by itself.
